usu english department { phase 2 - spring 2006 }
In phase 2, the construction phase, Dr Kelli Cargile Cook and her Interactive Media class took on the responsibility of putting the chosen proposal into action.
Our class divided into three development teams: Information Architecture, Content Development, and Technical Support.
My role: Assistant Information Architecture Supervisor/Technical Support Supervisor
I worked primarily under Samuel Howard and Dr Cargile Cook, as well as in close connection with Christopher Okelberry, the Systems Administrator for the college of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at Utah State. As the semester progressed, my responsibilities evolved to include a lot of cross-team technical support and instruction. I supervised a team of six people who looked to me for assignments and support.
My responsibilities included writing a large percentage of the CSS and HTML for the website templates. I also composed and distributed a series of non-web documents, including instructional materials and reports concerning the Proteus Web Content Management system.
